The Minister of Trade and Investment Olusegun Aganga has said that despite the efforts by government and stakeholders since 2009 to revive the textile industry, nothing significant has been achieved.
The minister said yesterday in Abuja at the stakeholders retreat on the textile sub-sector of the Nigeria Industrial Revolution Plan that the country should be ashamed of itself in view of the sorry state of the textile industry after its vibrancy in the past.
