Africa: Mikel, Moses, Emenike, Pitroipa Named in CAF Team of Tournament

Nigeria dominated the Confederation of African Football Team of the Tournament as five members of the all conquering Super Eagles team were Sunday night named in the list.

The Nigerian players in the CAF XI are goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama; right back, Efe Ambrose; Chelsea duo of Mikel Obi and Victor Moses; and tournament's Golden Boot winner, Emmanuel Emenike.

The five players were named in the 3-5-2 line up announced by CAF.

The player of the tournament was awarded to Jonathan Pitroipa of Burkina Faso.

The other players in the CAF XI are Ivory Coast's Siaka Tiene, Seydou Keita of Mali, Jonathan Pitropa and Bakary Kone of Burkina Faso, and Asamoah Gyan of Ghana.

A defender, Nando, of Cape Verde was also given a place amongst the tournament's best legs.
