The first Mediterranean mediation conference opens Monday (February 11th) in Madrid, MAP reported. Moroccan Foreign Minister Saadeddine El Othmani and his Spanish counterpart, Jose Manuel Garcia-Margallo, will co-chair the two-day event.
Representatives of the Mediterranean countries, the UN, the EU, the Arab League, the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation and the Union for the Mediterranean (UPM) will attend the forum.
