Gambia: Mafugi Nursery School Receives Learning Materials

A Swedish philanthropist, Anikka Holstein recently made a donation of learning materials to Mafugi Nursery School in Brufut, Kombo North District, West Coast Region.

The kindergarten which consists of two class rooms, with about 50 pupils was established in 2011.

The donation, which was held at the school ground, included teaching aids, among other things.

Miss Anikka Holstein reassured her commitment to the school by offering sponsorship to six children.

In an interview with The Point, the proprietor of the school, Mr. Ousman Bojang expressed appreciation at the gesture, before extending gratitude from everyone at the school.
