Eritrea: Ministry Organizes Training for Needy Nationals

Asmara — The Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare's branch in the Central region has organized diverse training courses for more than 80 needy nationals in collaboration with various institutions.

Among the beneficiaries, Misgana Gebremichael, Asmerom Michael, Sahlu Woldetinsae and Filmon Teklegiorgis expressed satisfaction with the trainings, and said that the opportunity is a stepping stone to a bright future.

Mr. Zerizgi Yohanes, Head of human welfare department in the branch office, explained that the beneficiaries would be provided job opportunities either in the institutions they are receiving training or other organizations, and lauded the collaboration of stakeholders in the process. He further indicated that the trainees who are attending courses pertaining to printing, woodwork, metalwork, ceramics and weaving are due to graduate next month.

Nationals who became beneficiaries of similar trainings earlier are in a position to witness improvement of livelihood, according to reports.
