Angola: Luanda Governor Guarantees Better Carnival

Luanda — Luanda governor Bento Bento, on Tuesday pledged to do utmost with a view to make Luanda carnival more attractive, colourful and thrilling, Angop has learnt.

The offocial said so at the opening ceremony of the event, adding that conditions are created to host carnival, considered a true feast.

He also highlighted the engagement of the President of the Republic, José Eduardo dos Santos, in the improvement of conditions of the organising commission of the event.

"As the head of the Angolan Executive and a man of culture, President José Eduardo dos Santos has been doing his best so that the carnival, the greatest cultural feast take place without any constraints", he said.
