Angola: Moxico Governor Happy With Social Works

Cangamba — The provincial Governor of Eastern Moxico province, Ernesto dos Santos "Liberdade" was pleased with the implementation of the ongoing social works in the region, Angop has learnt.

Speaking to the press, after a visit to Luchazes Municipality, the governor said the social situation in theprovince is healthy, adding that the local staff is developing some works that

will improve people living standards.

Governor "Liberdade" recalled, among others, the execution of the Public Investment Programme and the Integrated Municipal Programmes of Rural Development and Fight Against Poverty, with stress to the sectors of education, health, power, waters, as well as assistance to peasants and agricultural co-operatives.
