Morogoro — AMERICAN doctors are expected to arrive at Nashera Hotel in Morogoro on the 16th of February, this year, to volunteer medical services to people with disabilities and those living with HIV/AIDS in Morogoro Region.

Speaking to journalists, Nashera Hotel Manager, Mr Benson Nabora, whose organization will host the volunteers, said up to now, three doctors have confirmed participation.

He said the services will be provided, for seven days, in the villages of Ndole, Mvomero, Milama, Idindo and Magubike, and will be a yearly exercise in which different villages in Morogoro Region will benefit.

"These doctors are from Journey To Your Promised Land (JTPYL) organization which deals with fighting poverty in the world through provision of better health services, improvement of education and advocating gender equality," Nabora added.

He said Nashera decided to become the host of the doctors so as to support health services to people with disabilities, in cooperation with the Erick Memorial Education Fund which supports them.
