GOVERNMENT says it will repossess excess ground totaling 27 948 hectares held by platinum giant Zimplats as part of widespread measures that will be applied to all minerals to stimulate mining activities.
Mines and Mining Development Minister Obert Mpofu told journalists at a press briefing in Harare yesterday that excess ground repossessed from Zimplats and other mining firms would be allocated to new investors.
