Nigeria: Kogi - DPR Seals 20 Petrol Stations

The Department of Petroleum has sealed about 20 petrol filling stations spread across Kogi State for engaging in sharp practices and operating without license.

The Operations Controller, of the DPR field office in Lokoja, Mr Olukayode G. Bada who stated this Tuesday while briefing newsmen on the recent activities of the DPR said the stations were sealed during a recent compliance exercise conducted in Idah and Ayingba townss.

"In course of our routine surveillance/inspections of petrol filing stations within Lokoja and other part of the state, the Department discovered that 20 filling stations were operating without licences and were accordingly sealed," he said.
