Minister of Power, Prof Chinedu Nebo has acknowledged that there are a couple challenges facing the power sector that has continue to bog down effective service delivery of the commodity to Nigerians.
Nonetheless, these problems, of which he mentioned only one - power transmission, he emphasized can be overcome and that as matter of expediency much attention is being paid to this area and others to ensure that the expectations of the people is met in the shortest possible time.
Prof. Nebo made these observations at the close of the meeting of the Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC) presided over by Vice President Muhammad Namadi Sambo at the State House, Abuja Tuesday, at which Benue State governor, Gabriel Suswam expressed hope that once transmission picks up in earnest, his state which has not been connected to the national grid since its creation 38 years ago will begin to benefit.
