Ghana: Angel FM Listeners Donate to Bonso Community

Angel FM and Angel Foundation, subsidiaries of the Angel Group of Companies in Kumasi, have come to the rescue of residents of Asaase Bonso, a farming community in the Sekyere Central district of the region.

Following an appeal to the listening public, listeners of the local radio station mobilised various items and contributed money towards the rehabilitation of about 500 residents and the community which was hit by a fire outbreak recently.

The donors mobilised clothing, roofing sheets, food items, sanitary pads, and cooking utensils in addition to GH¢3,000.00 meant for the reroofing of their burnt houses.

Mr. Kwabena Gyamfi, alias Joe Laka, General Manager of Angel FM, on behalf of the donors, presented the amount and items to the community.

Meanwhile, the Chief Executive Officer of the company, Dr. Kwaku Oteng, has indicated the intention of the Angel Group of Companies to construct a borehole for the community soon.
