Kenya: U.S. - Based Victoria Kimani to Release Single This Week

After being signed to Nigeria's Chocolate City music company, US based Kenyan singer Victoria Kimani will be releasing her first single this week.

The song called M'Toto will be released this Friday at a yet to be announced venue. Chocolate City is the parent label to Nigerian superstars Ice Prince, MI, Jesse, Brymo, Pryse.

Victoria Kimani, born and based in Los Angeles, California started writing, recording and performing music at the age of 16 while in high school. She moved back to Nairobi for a short while but now she travels between Los Angeles, Atlanta, New York and London working with a number of artistes and producers including Chris Brown and Timbaland. In 2010, she performed a cover of Ice Prince's hit song Oleku and from this caught the attention of Chocolate City executives. Victoria is a sister to Kenyan rappers, Bamboo and Kimya.
