Eritrea: Cooporation 'Vital' to Education in Agordat Sub-Zone

Agordat — The Education Ministry's branch in Agordat sub-zone indicated that joint endeavors are vital in enhancing the impact of education in the locality. It made the remark at an assessment meeting in which it was stated that a gratifying accomplishment has been registered pertaining to educational outreach.

Mr. Hamd Abdalla, supervisor in the branch office, said that there exist 48 adult education stations in the locality, and that schools should equally be equipped in line with the growing trend of school registration.

Likewise, Mr. Abdullahi Al-Amin, head of social service in Gash-Barka region, explained that the growing participation of children in education attests to the government's commitment to this end, and called on the inhabitants to extend a helping hand towards reinforcing educational institutions.

The participants of the meeting put forth views regarding several issues.
