Gambia: Real De Banjul Key Players to Miss Champions League Tie

Real De Banjul will have to do without two of its players for the first-leg of the Caf Champions League.

No, it is not injury worries. The duo will skip the task of facing FUS Rabat as they attend trials in the southwest of Asia, the Sultanate of Oman.

Meaning, Coach Alagie Sarr will miss the attacking potent of his lethal striker son Modou Njie Sarr and Muctarr Jallow.

The pair are understood to be undergoing a test with an unnamed Elite League club outfit.

Modou Njie Sarr scored fifteen league goals finishing as the GFA domestic championship highest goal-getter last season.

His goals helped Real clinch the league trophy - the club's ninth according to statistics.

Njie Sarr underwent a trial along Dimingo Manneh with Moroccan club before the start of the league. Real were expected to travel yesterday at press time.
