Djiboutian President Ismail Omar Guelleh met with a delegation from the African Union Peace and Security Council (PSC) on Sunday (February 10th) to discuss recommendations from a PSC conference held in the country at the weekend, Djibouti's La Nation reported.
The delegation included PSC President Nyolosi Mphale and AU Commissioner for Peace and Security Ramtane Lamamra. Djibouti's Foreign Minister Mahmoud Ali Youssouf was also present at the meeting.
Mphale said the PSC viewed Djibouti as an anchor for promoting stability and peace in Africa, especially East Africa.
