Angola: Cameia and Luacano Districts to Gain BPC Counters in 2013-02-13

Luena — The districts of Cameia and Luacano, eastern Moxico province, will gain this year one counter each with the Angolan Savings and Credit Bank (BPC).

This was said to the press over the last weekend in Cangamba village in Luchazes district by the provincial governor, João Ernesto dos Santos "Liberdade".

Speaking to the press at the end of his visit paid to Luchazes district, the official said that the other municipalities already have banking services of BPC.

According to him, currently the civil servants receive salaries through banking systems, therefore they will no longer leave their towns for Luena city of other neighbouring provinces to get the respective salaries.

He also said that BPC will also grant loans to civil servants and peasants in a near future, so as to guarantee their economic incomes.
