Angola: Government Reaffirms Commitment to Social Development

Lubango — The deputy governor of Huila for political and social sector, Jose Arao Nathaniel Chissonde reaffirmed today, in Lubango, the Government will continue to engage in the implementation of programs that tend to the welfare of the population through concrete actions to promote sustainable development.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the third southern regional course of midwives, the official stressed that this factor involves the provision of social facilities and staff training in different specialties.

He said the social sector this year will have another path taking into account the other turn given to the budget, where health and education sectors deserve priority. He revealed that soon will be launched tenders for the construction of new social infrastructure in the province.
