Menongue — The governor of Kuando Kubango, Higino Carneiro, inaugurated a primary school and a health clinic in the town of Lupale, after the presence of administrative power introduced by the government, with the hoisting and singing of the National Anthem for the first time in history.
The school has five classrooms, five suites for teachers, as well as two for nurses who can work henceforth in the area that is in line with the marks 30 to 36, thus making the corridor between Kuando Kubango, Cunene and Owangwena region (Republic of Namibia).
The school, that can cater for more than 300 children initially, and health centers, are the first administrative infrastructures.
The ceremony was also attended by the governors of Cunene, António Didalelwa, and the region's Owangwena, Osko Nghaangwa, ambassador of Angola in Namibia, Alexandre Rodrigues Kito, non-resident ambassador of Botswana and Namibia, Duke Lefhoko, the administrator of Cuangar, Manuel Franessa, among other guests.
