Luanda — A delegation of United States Army Command in Africa (Africom), led by major-general Patrick Donahye, Wednesday started a three-day visit to Angola, as part of strengthening relation of cooperation and friendship with the local Angolan Armed Forces (FAA).
Angop learned that the six-high ranking officers of "Africom", based in Italy, will meet the FAA officials.
High on agenda also include meeting with the chief of Staff of the Angolan Armed Forces, general Geraldo Sachipengo Nunda, and deputies.
Angola is the last stage of the delegation's visit to some countries of African continent.
The delegation is expected to return to Italy on Friday.
The Angolan Armed Forces and US counterpart cooperate in the fields such as English teaching, assistance in combat HIV/AIDS and training of computer technicians.
