Nigeria: Mali Community Leaders Commend Nigerian Troops
By Senator Iroegbu, 13 February 2013
The Headquarters of the Nigerian contingent in African-led International Support Mission to Mali (AFISMA) was last week paid courtesy visits by some community leaders in Mali who commended efforts to restore peace and stability in the war-thorn country.
This was disclosed in a statement signed Wednesday by the Director of Defence Information (DDI), Col Mohammed Yerima, saying that the community leaders expressed gratitude to Nigerian troops by donating cows to them.
