Namibia: Robbers Strike At Swakop Shop

A CLEANING agent shop in Swakopmund's light industrial area was robbed yesterday morning.

Three men, one armed with a gun and two with knives, held up three staff members before locking them in the kitchenette. They then proceeded to steal two cellphones, a laptop computer and N$700 in cash before fleeing the scene.

According to Police Inspector Erastus Iikuyu, no arrests were made by yesterday evening. The victims did not suffer any injury.
