South Africa: MEC Marawu to Launch Road Shows Programme

The Eastern Cape Department of Transport MEC Thandiswa Marawu together with Government Fleet Trading Entity and Wesbank First Auto RT46 will launch and embark on information sharing road shows starting at Mt Ayliff town hall on Friday 15 February at 10h00.

These road shows will be held throughout all the Districts and their aim is to inform small, medium and micro enterprises about the strategic objectives of the Trading Entity, as well as business opportunities that exist in Government fleet.

They are also intended to give a chance to the stakeholders to have a better understanding of the processes and procedures on the maintenance, repairs, towing and disposal of Government vehicles.

The focus of the road shows will be on the following aspects:

Doing business with Government and Merchants (Procedures and Processes)

Payments including procedure and payment cycle.

Registration to F/A as a merchant
