A non-governmental organization, Child Affairs has tasked teachers not to allow children have access to social media networks without supervision.
Managing Director of the NGO Francis Okpeta who said this during a seminar organized by the organization recently in Abuja for school proprietors said teachers should restrict students to sites relevant to the academics or school.
He said not monitoring children's use of social networking sites could expose them to sexual predators, fraudsters, terrorism amongst other vices.
