Luanda — The Angolan writer Boaventura Cardoso released on Wednesday in Luanda his latest book entitled "Noites de Vigília".
It is a 227-page novel comprising narrated facts of the years 1974 and 1975 in the city of Luanda, in which portrays the stage of great confrontations whose dimension was characterized as urban guerrilla war.
According to the author, the facts narrated in "Noites de Vigília" will be read by youth so that they may take references about the war that hit the country for various years.
Boaventura Cardoso has already released six books, namely "Dizanga Dia muenhu", "Fogo da fala", "A morte do velho Kipacaça", "O signo do fogo", "Maio mês da Maria" and "Mãe materno".
The writer is a founding member of the Angolan Writers Association (UEA).
