Angola: Bié Govt to Invest Over 100 Million Kwanzas in Electricity Supply Improvements

Kuito — About 144.4 million kwanzas will be used this year by the central Bié Province's government to improve the supply of electricity to the citizens.

Speaking to ANGOP, the governor of Bié, Álvaro Manuel de Boavida Neto, explained that this investment will include the acquisition of 30 generator groups of 65 and 100 kv and lightening-conductors.

He said the money will also be used in studies to find the viability of building thermal centres in the municipalities, as well as in staff training.
