The Ministry of Youth and Sports will monitor and support the 11th edition of the National Campus of University students' holidays (CANFEU), to take place from 25 February to 2 March in Soyo city, northern Zaire province, aiming to share social, scientific and cultural knowledge among the students.

This was said to Angop on Wednesday in Luanda by the Secretary of State for Youth, Nhanga Calunga de Assunção, who paid from Monday to Tuesday a working visit to Quifuma, where the event will take place by gathering about 2000 students.

The official said that this year, the initiative expects to gather members of all juvenile associations of the country, regardless their political party membership and religious belief.

He said that the construction of the campus and basic conditions for the activities are created and the provincial government of Zaire is directly involved in the preparation of the event.

The first edition of CANFEU was held in the central Huambo province in 2002.
