Angola: Lunda Sul Governor Happy About Carnival Groups' Organisational Level

Saurimo — The governor of the eastern Lunda Sul Province, Cândida Maria Guilherme Narciso, last Tuesday in Saurimo City manifested her satisfaction at the organisational level of the carnival groups that paraded in the 2013 edition of this popular feast, in this province.

Speaking at the end of the official provincial parade, Cândida Narciso showed expressed satisfaction at the performance of the carnival groups, having also appealed to entrepreneurs to support events of this kind.

"For us to have a better carnival, we need to see the entrepreneurs, in accordance with their social responsibilities, support the carnival groups, sponsoring them, so that they can also publicise their firms, and not leave all the responsibility to the government", she emphasised.

The governor revealed that the government has been making efforts so that in every edition of the carnival the monetary prize is increased to satisfy the beneficiaries.
