Gambia: Baboucarr Trawally Is New GRTS Deputy DG

Veteran photo journalist Baboucarr Trawally has been appointed as the new Deputy Director General of the Gambia Radio and Television Services (GRTS) effective Tuesday 12th February 2013.

Trawally, who until his appointment was working with the Department of Information Services (DOIS) as a senior photographer, replaced Malick Jones who has now been appointed as deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Information and Communication Infrastructure.

When contacted, Trawally confirmed his appointment, but declined to comment further.
