Angola: National Assembly Approves 2013 State Budget

Luanda — The National Assembly (Angolan Parliament) Thursday in Luanda approved the State Budget for 2013 with revenues and expenditures estimated at over six 6.6 trilion Kwanzas, Angop learnt.

The document was approved with 155 votes in favor, 38 against and five abstentions.

The definitive approval of the document was preceded by debates among the MPs, in the presence of the State minister and the head of the Civil Office to the Presidency of the Republic, in his capacity as representative of the Angolan Executive, Edeltrudes Costa, and members of the Cabinet.

The session was chaired by the National Assembly speaker, Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos.
