The Bundung Magistrates' Court, presided over by Magistrate Kijera, on Tuesday arraigned one Alhagie Suwareh, charged with assault causing actual bodily harm.

The particulars of the offence stated that on the 24th December, 2012 at Bijilo, the accused assaulted one Lamin Jobe on his head, causing him actual bodily harm. Suwareh pleaded not guilty and the prosecutor handling the case Corporal 3466 Sawaneh applied for an adjournment to commence his case at the next adjourned date.

Meanwhile, the accused was granted bail in the sum of D5, 000 with one Gambian surety, and the case was adjourned to 21st February 2013 for hearing.
