Kenya: Two Suspected Thugs Held in Nyahururu Crackdown

Police in Nyahururu have arrested two criminals suspected to be behind a series of crimes in the area. Households goods were recovered during the operation yesterday.

Nyandarua OCPD Benjamin Onsongo, who led the operation, said the two were arrested at Losogwa. He said they made the arrests after a tip-off from members of the public. Onsongo said that the two are among a group of six criminals that police have been looking for.

"We have information that they are the ones who have been breaking into people's houses within Losogwa, Maina and Manguo," he said.

Onsongo they are being held at Nyahururu police station before they are charged. He appealed to residents to apprehend any information concerning the rest members of the gang.
