Kenya: Coast Producers Form Peace Initiative

Coast based Producer Totti together with his company Kay-G Records have teamed up with an initiative known as Wapewe Peace. The initiative will be working with radio presenter Gates Mgenge of Pwani FM, Sleem G' Outta-limits, DJ Ellon and Mchizen Pato to preach peace before the elections on March 4.

"The initiative is to have a door to door peace campaigns in different regions of the coast province especially areas perceived to be hot spots," said Producer Totti. Peace songs are currently being recorded by Wapewe CEO Davis Kithikii who is the founder of the Initiative and Kay-G records of Producer Totti.

Nyota Ndogo's latest hit Amani is one of the songs under the project.
