Kenya: Sh100 Million for NGO School

A Non Governmental Organisation in Malindi will start building a school of excellence worth Sh100 million at Kavinyalalo area to assist poor students.

The AIDDUCATION International will lay out the foundation in the remote part of the constituency at a 30-acre piece of land.

Beneficiaries will include bright but poor students who are expected to go through the normal high school curriculum while at the same time acquiring technical training to nurture talent. Jeremiah Kambi, the NGO's chief executive Officer, said the full boarding institution will accommodate 400 students.

Speaking in Malindi, Kambi said preparations for the construction work had started."We are in the process of setting up a state of the art school of excellence in Kavinyallalo area a remote area that is famous for high poverty levels and poor education standards so as to uplift the standards of living for the locals," he said.
