Cord presidential candidate Raila Odinga's campaign team has embarked on a door-to-door campaign in the South Rift region. The Friends of Raila chairman, Daudi Chepkwony, says the prime minister is expected to reclaim the region with a 75 per cent vote.
He said negative messages by those who benefited from Raila after the last general election had led to low popularity ratings.
"Now that we are back to our fame as Cord and Fora, we are sure Raila will beat all his presidential challengers in round one," Chepkwony said in Kericho town yesterday.
Chepkwony and other Raila supporters moved round the urban centre pasting Raila's presidential posters and those of his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka.
