Kenya: Knut Officials Threaten Strike
By Gilbert Ochieng
Knut officials have threatened to strike over government's failure to honour a salary agreement.
"Should the state fail to pay teachers their dues, we will mobilise them to down their tools," said Busia branch Kenya National Union of Teachers executive secretary Mark Oseno. He said the move showed lack of recognition to the role of teachers in the society.
