Kenya: Walk On the Right Side, Ababbu Tells Odera

Sports minister Ababu Namwamba has vilified a Teso North MP aspirant for jumping out of ODM with false allegations about the Orange Party.

Speaking while on a tour of Teso, the former Budalangi MP said Arthur Odera ran away from ODM after fearing the party nomination process.

"Walk in the right side of history and abandon URP where you have sought refuge. Jubilee will make our economy collapse if they form the next government," Ababu told Odera.

In a quick rejoinder Odera told Ababu to direct his venom to the right person. "The Iteso have made up their minds. Ababu should be reminded that I am not Raphael Wanjala. The rigging people witnessed in those nominations proved me right," he said.

The former Budalangi MP urged the Teso community to stay in ODM and realize proper development instead of wanting to give Raila "a gun to fight without bullets."

"If you like Agwambo, kindly vote in six piece instead of engaging in probabilities which is not counterproductive," he said. Ababu said Raila was a hero for change who must be honoured with the highest seat in the land to implement the new constitution.
