A 68-year-old woman was arraigned before a Thika court charges with obtaining money by false pretence.
Milka Muthoni Kuria alias Margaret Wanjiru Mbugua was vharged that on February 2 in Thika town, she obtained Sh1.2million from Lucy Nyakiringa Kiarie by claiming to be the rightful owner of a parcel of land in Juja that Kiarie wanted to buy. She denied the charges before resident magistrate N.Telewa and hearing of her case was set for March.
