Kenya: Thugs Take Sh1 Million Church Property

Robbers raided Ruring'u PCEA church, Nyeri and stole Sh 1 million equipment. Speaking to the press yesterday, church chairman Phillip Nderitu said the stole nine plasma screens, a video camera and other electronic gadgets as well as ransacking the vestry.

The chairman of the church Phillip Ngunyi Nderitu said the robbers later ransacked the church including the vestry. A night guard Dennis Githinji, said the thugs also stole his cash and mobile phone before tying him up with a rope.
