Kenya: Three Fight for Supremacy

Two Mombasa residents have accused a fellow tribesman of misleading Coast politicians. Speaking after a meeting at a Mombasa hotel, Solomon Musyoka, a former nominated councillor and a community elder and Wiper Jomvu secretary John Munyasia said Alexander Mwova has branded himself a Kamba kingpin.

However, Mwova accused Musyoka of misleading the Kamba community in Mombasa. He said Musyoka lies to people that he is a brother to Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka and branded him a conman.

"He tells people that if they want to see the VP they must pass through him," he said. "What is wrong with me calling myself a king? I will call myself King today, tomorrow and the day after," he said.
