R&B Singer and EME boss, Banky W, has renewed his endorsement deal with Samsung Electronics West Africa to a tune his reps say is worth about N100m.
It's just two months into 2013 but the year's already looking very good for the musician and label executive, Banky W.
It was gathered that Bankole Welllington (Banky W's name) and Nollywood star, Kate Henshaw, will be the faces of Samsung Electronics West Africa Mobile Division and they will work together to raise awareness for Samsung mobile products and ultimately contribute to make Samsung phones the preferred brand in the West Africa sub-region.
'This is my second run as a Samsung brand ambassador and I'm grateful for the opportunity', Banky W said in a recent interview.
The gifted singer will unveil his new album, R&BW, this Friday in a love concert. The R&BW album release holds at The Civic Centre, Victoria Island Lagos and promises to be an intimate concert this valentine.
He will be joined by some of R&B's biggest names, including Wande Coal, Darey, Tiwa Savage, Bez, Blackky and Faze. Other star performers, according to EME include Lynxxx, Sound Sultan, Iyanya, Praiz, Omawumi, Waje, J Martins, May D, Chidinma and many more to be announced.
The EME all stars will also be performing and there will be special guest appearance by Don Jazzy and Yvonne Nelson as well as other special surprises.
The album release comes at a period when the EME chairman and his most successful singer, Wizkid, is at logger heads prompting the latter to leave the Empire Mates Entertainment label.
