Luanda — Angola's minister of Sports, Gonçalves Muamdumba, on Thursday here highlighted the engagement of the institution in the implementation of strategy of sector development, Angop has learnt.

The official said so at the swear in ceremony of the new director of sports policy, António Gomes, adding that he hopes that the change brings about a new dynamic in this fundamental organ of the Ministry, so that the goals be achieved.

"We are in an important phase of the implementation of the strategy of the youth and sports development policies. Therefore, we intend that the changes bring about new ideas that reach the expectations", he said.

He said works will be held in the areas of infrastructures, training, school sports, legislative package, high performance, among others.
