Angola: Over 120,000 Inhabitants Benefit From Drinking Water

Quipungo — Over 120,000 inhabitants of Quipungo Municipality, southern Huila province, are benefitting from drinkable water, through a new collection, treatment and distribution station, inaugurated by the governor João Marcelino Tyipinge, Angop has learnt.

Worth over 90 million Kwanzas, the system was constructed under the Water for All Programme and comprises a reservoir, a 100 cubic meters tank and a water treatment area.It has a capacity of pumping 45 cubic meters of water per hour.

Meanwhile, the provincial director of water and energy, Abel João da Costa, said the system is a modern one and guarantees water without stoppage.
