Egypt Denies Broadcasting Ex-Libya Regime Channel On Nilesat

Egyptian diplomatic sources denied on Wednesday 13/2/2013 that a Libyan TV channel loyal to ousted leader Muammar Gaddafi's regime is broadcast on the Egyptian satellite Nilesat.

The Egyptian Nilesat Company had denied several times any relation with El-Ganfoud TV channel, said the sources in the Libyan capital.

The denial came amid threats on social websites to attack the Egyptian embassy in Tripoli.

These threats were meant to drive a wedge between Egypt and Libya, said the sources.
