Egypt: Presidency - We Communicate With Powers Refusing Dialogue

The Presidency announced on Wednesday 13/2/2013 that it continues all efforts for expanding the participation of all national and political powers in the coming round of the national dialogue.

The Presidency, according to a statement, is having contacts with all active political powers to attend the coming round of dialogue.

The date of the coming round will be announced later after all preparations are completed, according to the statement.

On the other hand, Grand Imam of al-Azhar Ahmed el-Tayyeb urged all political powers to sit to the dialogue table.

The remark was made at a meeting with Presidential advisors Emad Abdul Ghafour and Omayma Kamel. They have also taken up the current political crisis in the country and means of ending it in a bid to stop violence in the Egyptian street.

El-Tayyeb explained at the meeting that dialogue is the only way to get out of the current political turmoil that had cast its shadow on the economic and security conditions in Egypt.
