Nigeria: ...As 4,314 Corps Members Conclude Service Year in Rivers

Port Harcourt — A total number of 4,314 members yesterday concluded their service year in Rivers State. Chairman of the Rivers State NYSC Governing board and Secretary to the State Government, George Feyii, at the passing out parade, said about 10 corps members received the state's honours award, while 11 others received the chairman's award for outstanding performance.

He said 8 corps members that absconded from service will repeat the service year, while 12 others will have their service year extended.

He urged the corps members not to discard the knowledge and experience gained in the course of the service year.
