Angola: Businesswomen's Fair Marks St Valentine's Day

Viana — A fair is taking place in Viana Municipality, Luanda Province, since last January 29, aimed at marking Saint Valentine's Day (Feb. 14), in an initiative of the Businesswomen's League of Viana (LIMNEV).

Speaking to ANGOP, the chairwoman of LIMNEV, Nanga Clarice, said that the event is aimed at collecting funds for the acquisition of some goods that will be donated to the João Paulo II elderly people's shelter home.

"We are selling clothing, shoes, kitchen utensils, jewellery and roses", informed the official.

In her opinion, it is necessary to learn to like and love our partner, further advising couples to exchange not just gifts but also good gestures and words everyday.

She also reminded that people should not wait for February 14 to offer a present to the one they love.
