Liberia: MVP Launches 'Get Education 2013' - Calls for Sponsorship

A popular secular musical group under the nomenclature 'Mighty Unit' is making frantic efforts to launch a program to be known and styled "Get Education 2013".

According to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Mighty Unit, Mr. Tobias Jrikan, the program is aimed at promoting hidden talents in young people and blending it with education to build a social network. With this in mind, the group has decided to engage young people from the streets to go to school and further motivate and challenge those in schools and universities to take education serious.

The program which is expected to run from January to December 2013 will also host awareness campaigns in various communities as well as high schools and universities. "We intent to carry on quizzing and debate competitions of educational materials, financial aid, joint educational seminars for all and so on," the group's leader stated.

Meanwhile, the group (Mighty Unit) is seeking sponsorship from government institutions, private entities, NGOs and individuals as they strive to educationally build Liberia.
