Gambian international midfielder Tijan Jaiteh has returned to training with Norwegian second tier side Sandefjord fotboll after his failure to secure a top flight club for the new season.
Following a successful 2012 season with the club in which they narrowly missed out on a place in promotion, the fomer Gambia Ports Authority, Brann Bergen and Randers FC hard tackling midfielderwas hoping to move to a club which can guarantee him top flight football for 2013.
Jaiteh joined Sandefjord for an initial one year contract following his long standing impasse with Danish side Randers FC and has now decided to extend his stay to a season until the end of the end of November 2013 that will get underway later this year with the option to extend for an extra year.
The former Gambia U-17, U-20 and U-23 player was very close to joining Start Kristiansen in the Norwegian top flight but the deal failed to materialise and now Jaiteh will join the rest of his teammates in their assualt for a return back to the top flight for the 2014 season.
