Observers have been stationed in most parts of Rift Valley to monitor events ahead of the general election. The EU, US and UK are among foreign nations which have already dispatched observers to areas which were affected by post election violence.
Richard Maina from Transparency International says they are also monitoring the election process and educating voters ahead of the polls.
